Providing educational experiences for more than 20,000 students each year, the education program at Montalvo Arts Center offers programs that reflect a multi-layered approach to arts education for K-12 students. Students experience live performances, gallery tours and workshops through programs that integrate with school curricula.
In 2002, Montalvo launched its teacher services initiative to provide quality arts education resources and professional development opportunities to teachers in grades K-12.
Montalvo Arts Center is committed to partnering with our public school systems in an effort to make up for the loss of arts education in our schools and to subsequently increase student achievement.
